Greetings in the Name of Jesus!

“Where there is no vision, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18a KJV)

Mark and Kay Bojovic, missionaries to africa helping orphans and developing youth leaders. We are so excited for the vision God has given us for this year! The vision is this: To see dramatic change in the spiritual maturity of our CarePoint youth leaders and teachers.

What can be more exciting than investing into the people that will create the biggest impact at the CarePoints and the nation of Swaziland? Each one of our CarePoints has a daily feeding register of 250-400+ children and a youth group attendance anywhere between 30 and 50. We long to see what God will do this year as we invest our time and lives this whole year to the key leaders at our CarePoints (the four teachers and ten youth group leaders).

One of our goals for youth groups this year is to build the leaders up to the point where they can conduct youth-led youth groups with very little input from us. We want to see them with hearts ablaze for Jesus, attracting others to do the same.

One of our goals for our teachers is to see them become pastors of their CarePoints. We want them to show genuine concern and love over the flock that has been entrusted to them and invite the broken and hurting children into the kingdom of heaven.

The local church has to play an important part in all of this if there’s going to be long-term fruit. We have been and will continue to create relationships between the CarePoints and the local churches in order to connect the teachers and youth leaders to a life-giving church.

Our schedule is going to change a bit to reflect our new vision for this year. We will continue loving the orphans and vulnerable children at the CarePoints, but our focus will cause us to spend more time investing into our teachers’ and youth leaders’ spiritual maturity. This will include starting up weekly Bible studies and devotion times, coming up with creative ways to build closer relationships, visiting with them at their homes, and even inviting them to our home.

When you pray for us, please pray for the Lord’s wisdom and continued guidance as we move forward on His plans. Please pray for the finances needed to minister to the teachers and youth in a much greater way than last year (food, clothing, schooling fees, retreats, gifts, etc). Pray for our humility, because ultimately we don’t produce anything – “So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth.” (1 Cor 3:7 NASB). Also, please pray that we are first getting filled with His presence before we venture out and try to bring others into that same holy presence of God. Put another way, we must first drink from the Living Waters if we are ever to share with others the Living Waters.
